Space Training and Readiness Command (STARCOM) exists to prepare combat-ready USSF forces to fight and win in a contested, degraded, and operationally-limited environment through the deliberate development, education and training of space professionals; development of space warfighting doctrine, tactics, techniques, and procedures; and the test and evaluation of USSF capabilities.
Provide tailored contracting solutions in support of Joint Warfighters, anytime, anywhere.
Advance war-fighting lethality by collectively forging reusable, common, and interoperable M&S-enabled capabilities, yielding competitive advantages vital to air, space, and cyber power.
Develop strategy and policy, execute effective governance and resource management, lead coordination of the Army M&S enterprise and cross-community areas, train, educate and manage the Army Analysis and M&S workforce.
Discover, develop and transition innovative simulation and training technologies to maximize Soldier effectiveness and Warfighter readiness.
The STE CFT provides the Army’s first truly integrated, holistic training capability using emerging technologies from the virtual and gaming industries. STE will provide a Common Synthetic Environment that fully enables combined arms maneuver in a multi-domain environment using dynamic One World Terrain and Reconfigurable Virtual Trainers to deliver training at the Point of Need (PoN).
